Everywhere I turn is green
hope, peace, luck
it's in every song I hear
I simply won't forget
It wakes me in the morning
and kisses me goodnight
and everytime the worries come
my heart begins to fight
Those pictures still remain
carved into my memory
they hurt deep inside of me
and slowly cut my soul
The foolish hopes
which get me through the day
drown with the setting sun
as doubts wash them away
